Ford Announces The Powerful New Fiesta ST200
Ford is set to introduce the Fiesta ST200 which features more power and torque over a standard ST.
Featuring the same 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine as the conventional Fiesta ST, the ST200 will produce 197bhp and 294Nm of torque. That's ten percent jump in power as well as 20 percent torque increase than the standard Fiesta ST.
The Ford ST200 will be the most powerful production Fiesta ever built. The car is said to manage 0-100Km/h in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 230Km/h.
The EcoBoost motor will also offer an overboost function which adds an additional 15bhp and 30Nm of torque for 15 seconds. Ford has shortened the final drive ratio in the ST200 for aiding in-gear acceleration.
Other changes to the ST200 are the unique Storm Grey exterior, matt black alloy wheels, and illuminated ST sill plates. Red painted brake calipers are also unique to the car.
In the inside, Recaro seats with contrasting silver stitching and detailing on the seatbelts separate the car out from a conventional Fiesta ST.
