Ford Mustang Launched In Bangalore; Priced At Rs 66.36 Lakh
The 2016 Ford Mustang has been launched in Bangalore, the IT capital of the country. The Mustang uses a 5-litre V8 engine and has a top speed of 250km/h.
The Ford Mustang has been launched in Bangalore. The iconic American pony car is priced at Rs 66.36 lakh ex-showroom (Bangalore).
Bangalore is the ninth city in India that Ford has made the Mustang available for customers to purchase. The American carmaker bought its flagship muscle car to India for the first time, 52 years after the iconic Mustang made its debut in the United States.

Ford has also added four driving modes to the Mustang to give drivers the confidence to deal with the power under the hood. The four driving modes are: Normal, Wet/ Snow, Sport, and Track.
Ford has also added a feature known as 'Electronic Line-Lock' which allows drivers to pull of spectacular Burnouts by locking the front brakes and releasing the ones at the rear allowing the driver to spin the rear tyres for 15 seconds.
2016 Ford Mustang GT Design & Features
The Mustang features an aggressive shark-bite front bumper along with a large Mustang badge on the front grille. The front grille is flanked by sharp, angular LED headlamps.
The long bonnet up front the underneath which sits the beastly V8 meets up with a sharply raked windscreen. The Mustang rides on 19-inch alloy wheels.
The roof of the Mustang gently curves into the boot of the car while at the rear, the tri-bar LED tail lamps are present on either side of GT badge.
Also present are two tailpipes that flank the diffuser element of the rear bumper and announce the Mustang's presence wherever it goes.
Inside, the Mustang GT's instrument cluster features two large dials (rev counter and speedometer) flanking a display that gives out information about the car.
Also present is a large touchscreen infotainment system that is connected to a 9-speaker system.
The interiors feature leather upholstery while the three-spoke steering wheel features numerous controls including the ones for the adaptive cruise control.
Ford has packed the latest Mustang with a boatload of features including 8 airbags, individual tyre pressure monitoring system, automatic headlamps and wipers, auto dimming rearview mirror and push button start.
The Mustang is available in six colour options - Absolute Black, Ingot Silver, Oxford White, Triple Yellow Tricoat, Magnetic and Race Red.
