Ford Launches Fiesta ST Five-Door Version — Will India Get One?
Ford has launched the five-door version of the Fiesta ST ahead of its debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show to be held in October 2016. The sporty little hatchback will have the option of the five-doors and three-door version if you are looking to buy the Fiesta ST.
The Fiesta ST is essentially a three-door hatchback with the 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine churning out 180bhp of power and can sprint from 0 - 100km/h in 6.9 seconds. Official fuel efficiency is pegged at 16.40km/l although under real world condition it comes down to approximately 13.33km/l.
The five-door Ford Fiesta ST comes with 17-inch alloys wheels, a bespoke grille, a rear diffuser, and comes in five different colour options which include Race Red and Spirit Blue. On the inside, there are Recaro seats and the unique ST detailing.
Ford will not offer the five-door version on the Fiesta ST200, which is a powerful car comparatively with a sprint of 0 - 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, though it will come as a three-door model only.
