Ford To Fit Figo & Figo Aspire With Touchscreen Infotainment Systems
American carmaker Ford has started developing a brand new touchscreen infotainment system for its upcoming cars.
The development of the new system in response to the growing demand for touchscreen systems in all cars across segments.
The new touchscreen systems are likely to first make their way on to the facelifted versions of the Figo hatchback and the Figo Aspire compact sedan when they're introduced in 2018.
Following the Figo siblings, the new touchscreen system will make its way onto other models across the Ford range.
The introduction of the new touchscreen system is likely to cause a change in the dashboard of the Figo as the current position of the infotainment system is located a bit too far away for proper touch access.
Touchscreen infotainment systems have started becoming a big selling factors for cars across segments. The A-segment Renault Kwid is the least expensive car currently on sale in the country to be offered with a touchscreen infotainment system.
