Ford Endeavour Trend Variant Gets A Major Price Cut
Ford has discreetly slashed the prices of the Endeavour, by up to Rs. 2.82 lakh. The price cut is for three Trend variants, and the prices of the Titanium variants remain unchanged.
Earlier, the company had hiked the prices of Endeavour Titanium variants by almost Rs. 50,000. Now the latest price drop is expected to be the company's step to tap Performance Enthusiasts by offering the SUV at a very competitive Prices.
The price of the 2.2, 4x2, Manual Gearbox, Trend trim remains the same at Rs. 25,00,800, while the 2.2, 4x4, Manual Gearbox and 2.2 4x2 Automatic Trend variants have witnessed a price drop of Rs. 2.82 lakh and Rs. 1.73 lakh.
Currently, the variants are priced at Rs. 23,78,000, making them 'budget-friendly' variants of the Endeavour. The 3.2, 4x4, Automatic Gearbox, Trend trim has also received a Rs. 1.73 lakh reduction, which now costs Rs. 25,93,000 on-road.
Ford launched the new Endeavour earlier this year to compete against the likes of the Toyota Fortuner. In India, the SUV is offered with a 2.2-litre, diesel engine that can produce 158Bhp and 385Nm of peak torque, and a 3.2-litre, diesel engine that produces 197Bhp and 470Nm of torque.
The transmission options offered on the Endeavour are a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Ford currently offers the 3.2-litre variant only mated with an automatic gearbox.
