Force One SUV Most Likely To Be Discontinued In India
Force Motors had launched its Force One SUV for the Indian market. The Force One was introduced in the Indian market back in 2011. Now reports suggest that the manufacturer is most likely to terminate production and end sales of their SUV in the country.
The Pune-based automobile manufacturer is ending production owing to poor and low sales. Since 2011 to 2016, Force Motors has managed to sell only 3,008 units of the Force One SUV. During the launch Force Motors was confident on selling 4,000 units within the first year itself.
The Force One SUV received an update in 2013, they included ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) in all variants. Unfortunately, all the additions and revisions did not attract buyers to SUV and sales were unaffected.
The Gurkha by Force Motors is not affected and will continue to be in production. Force Motors Gurkha is a thorough off-road machine and is a championship winning vehicle. At this moment, Force Motors plans on using the Gurkha platform to spawn another Utility Vehicle (UV).
