Fiat Links Up With Amazon To Sell Cars Online
Fiat has teamed up with Amazon to sell its car on the world wide web.
Italian-American carmaker Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has teamed up with American e-commerce giant Amazon in a partnership that will see the company start selling cars online
Italy, the home of Fiat, is the first country where the Amazon partnership can be seen with Amazon.it already offering the Fiat Panda along with the Fiat 500 and 500L for sale.
The Fiat Panda is Italy's biggest selling car, while buyers of the 500 and its larger 500L version embody the young and adventurous nature the online sales model is trying to appeal to.
Fiat has said that existing promotions will be improved by up to 33 percent for online customers which can be seen on Amazon where discounts on the three cars range from 15 to 28 percent.
After booking their vehicles on Amazon for€180, the buyers will be contacted by Amazon to decide on a dealer where they can finalize their purchase and pick up the car.
Once all the final details are sorted, the vehicle will be ready for its new owner to pick up in less than two weeks.
