Datsun Teams Up With myTVS To Enlarge Service Network Across India
Japanese carmaker Datsun has joined forces with with multi-brand car service player myTVS to help expand its service network across India.
This partnership is the first time that any manufacturer has teamed up with myTVS, which is part of the TVS group and offers multi-brand car servicing across India.
myTVS currently has around 100 outlets spread across south India which Datsun owners can now use to service their cars.
Jerome Saigot, vice-president, Datsun India Business Unit, spoke to Autocar Professional about the deal in Bangalore at the launch of the redi-GO in the city. He said, "We have signed with MyTVS for service arrangements. Datsun cars will also be serviced in MyTVS service stations with the same standard followed in Datsun garages."
The newly launched redi-GO, which is Datsun's most affordable car on sale in India comes with a two-year/unlimited kilometres standard warranty. In another segment-first, an optional warranty for 2 or 3 years/unlimited kilometres with free roadside assistance is also available for redi-GO owners.
The partnership between the two companies will prove to be a boon for Datsun owners especially in smaller towns and cities.
