Datsun GO Plus Limited Edition Teased

Datsun India has released a teaser image online of what appears to be the carmaker's next launch slated for India. The silhouette looks to be the same as the GO+, which is sold in India currently.

There are high chances for Datsun to launch a limited edition variant of the MPV.

Since the length matches the GO+, Datsun could retain the 7 seater configuration, which at the moment has no competition in the Indian market owing to its price.

If it is a GO+ limited edition, we can expect exterior changes in the form of stickers and decals. The interior could have added features too, but will remain the same mechanically.

In terms of pricing, we expect it to be marginally higher than the GO+. We expect the engine configurations to be the standard 1.2-litre, four-cylinder unit that produces 67bhp and 104Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox that does its duty in the GO+ as well.
