Datsun GO-Cross India Launch Details Revealed
Datsun is looking to improve its portfolio in India. One way to do it is by expanding its model range and the carmaker recently launched the redi-GO, which will compete in the entry-level hatchback segment.
The next in line related to the redi-GO that Datsun have is the GO-Cross, which was showcased during the 2016 Auto Expo. Now, according to a few industry sources, the GO-Cross could be launched in India by 2019.
According to a few other sources though, there are chance for Datsun to launch the crossover earlier than expected. Datsun could launch the vehicle in 2017 itself, but the company is looking at possibilities and nothing is 100 percent confirmed.
One key reason why Datsun is looking forward to launch the GO-Cross by 2017 is because of the huge response the company got from customers during the Auto Expo.
In regards to the engine that will power the GO-Cross, the vehicle may borrow the power unit that does its duty on the Nissan Terrano and the renault Duster. So will the launch be in 2017 itself, or during 2019? Now that's something we will have to wait and watch.
