Datsun Celebrates Chingam In Kerala By Delivering 310 redi-GOs In A Day
Datsun India has managed to set another delivery record. 310 redi-GOs were delivered in a single day across Kerala. So far, it is the highest number of four-wheelers delivered by a manufacturer to start Chingam festivities. This record was created to mark the 'Chingam' season in the state of Kerala.
The redi-GO is an all-new entry-level hatchback from Datsun for the Indian market. Datsun India has priced its redi-GO extremely well at Rs. 2.43 lakh ex-showroom (Kochi). As of now, the new offering from the manufacturer is their top-selling product.
In India, Datsun offers the GO hatchback, GO+ compact station wagon, and the redi-GO entry-level hatchback. All three products are priced aggressively and is aimed at young and first-time vehicle buyers across the country.
The redi-GO is developed on a common platform from Renault-Nissan Alliance. CMF-A platform was used by Renault to develop their Kwid, while Datsun used the platform for its redi-GO model. Several other products are also shared between Renault and Nissan.
