Spy Shots: Next-Gen Chevrolet Beat Spotted Testing
The nex-generation Chevrolet Beat was recently revealed by the American carmaker and the hatchback is expected to arrive in early 2017.
The upcoming Beat was recently snapped testing in Himachal Pradesh and the spy shots reveal the rear end of the car for the first time.
The spy shots, despite the copious amount of camo on the rear end, does reveal a new tail lamp design.
The rest of the Beat is expected to take most of its styling cues from the Chevrolet Spark sold in international markets. The front end features Chevrolet's signature split grille and the headlamps have become a lot less edgy compared to the current car.
The sides of the new car look quite smoothed out but they do retain the pumped up wheel arches and the rear door handles that are hidden next to the window of the car.
The 2017 Beat is expected to retain the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.0-litre diesel engines in use in the current Beat.
