Chevrolet Beat Activ: Spec & Production Model Revealed
We just confirmed to you that Chevrolet promises to put the Beat Activ concept into production. They plan on introducing the crossover model in the Indian market by 2017. Now, we have for you a close to production ready model and a few other specifications.
Powering the Beat Activ is a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine. Both petrol and diesel powered engine options will be offered in the crossover. Initially, both engines will be mated to 5-speed manual gearbox.
A set of new and sporty looking alloy wheels will be offered on the Beat Activ. Black plastic cladding will be fitted to the lower part around the crossover. Silver mouldings will be seen on the side, front and rear end of the soon to be launched Beat Activ.
Bigger fog lamps, bolder bumpers, skid plates and roof rails will be on the production model. The interior is expected to adorn a youthful and sporty avatar. A touchscreen entertainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will be included.
In terms of safety, Chevrolet India will offer the base variant with ABS and airbags. Several other safety features will be provided in the higher variants of the Beat Activ. Once launched, it will take on the likes of the Toyota Etios Cross and the soon to be launched Datsun Go-Cross model.
