This Is The Future Of The SUV — Is It Crazy Enough For You?
The Beijing Auto show has been full of crazy looking cars from the the world's most expensive SUV to a crazy fast electric supercar that will put Ferraris to shame. However, the star of the show has to be this crazy SUV concept from Chinese government owned carmaker Chery.
Dubbed the FV2030, this SUV concept imagines how cars will look like in 2030. The Concept features a rather long and sleek body with gullwing doors.
Other standout features include the large grille up front which is topped off thin stip of chrome on top which plays host to some rather tiny headlamps. At the rear the taillamps get the same treatment. The front, sides and the rear feature skid plates while the wheel arches are done up in chrome. The alloy wheels look quite funky as well.
Despite featuring air intakes, the FV2030 doesn't use an internal combustion engine, instead it uses electric motors and a battery pack for propulsion. Those funky alloy wheels also serve as hubs for the wireless charging system.
