Caterpillar To Produce 98 Tonne Off Road Trucks In India
Caterpillar has stated that it will be manufacturing 98 tonne high capacity off-road trucks in India.
A global leader in the manufacturing of construction and mining equipment, Caterpillar will be manufacturing high capacity off-road highway trucks in India.
Caterpillar displayed their Cat 773E and 777E Off-Highway trucks at the 2016 International Mining & Machinery Exhibition (IMME) held in Kolkata.
Caterpillar stated that the new Cat 777E is a 97.98-tonne high capacity off-road truck. Cat 773E and Cat 777E would be manufactured at the Caterpillar's production plant at Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu.
Caterpillar has a wide range of product portfolio in the country covering various sectors across infrastructure such as power and oil exploration, railways, defense and other sectors.
In the mining sector, Caterpillar has the widest range of products to serve the needs of surface mining as well as underground mining. Currently, Caterpillar has two dealerships in India.
