It won't be an easy job for Bugatti to convince the planet's rich personalities to take one among the 280 examples to their home and each one comes with a price tag of more than $2.5 million each.
Wolfgang Durheimer, the company's CEO has recently spoken to GTSpirit that all a customer needs, before taking the decision to buy one is to test drive one. The test drives are scheduled to begin from next March.
He said, "I'm confident the customers who have not yet decided to order a Chiron, will do so when they had a chance to drive it. The full focus is on building and delivering the Chiron for customers who have placed an order so far."
However, the company have decided to increase the production capacity of the hypercar to 65 units for 2017. This means that the waiting list currently stretches to 3 years. The next batch of cars are currently being assembled and the delivery will commence in early 2017.
