BMW X5 (Petrol Variant) Launched In India; Priced At Rs 73.50 Lakh
BMW has launched the petrol powered variant of its X5 SUV in India following waning demand for diesel SUVs in India
German carmaker BMW has launched the petrol-powered X5 SUV in India. The BMW X5 xDrive35i is priced at Rs 73.50 lakh ex-showroom (New Delhi).
Powering the new X5 variant is a turbocharged 3.0-litre inline six cylinder petrol engine that produces 302bhp and 400Nm of torque which is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox and BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system.
The petrol-powered BMW X5 Xdrive35i will sprint from 0-100km/h in just 6.5 seconds.
The BMW X5 petrol is available with multiple features such as Auto Start-Stop, ECO PRO driving mode, brake-energy regeneration and 50:50 weight distribution to help the SUV be as frugal as possible.
The X5 xDrive35i is available in India with the the Design Pure Experience package for improved aesthetics.
The interiors of the X5 are available in multiple leather upholstery options along with a 10.2-inch touchscreen i-Drive infotainment system which includes GPS based navigation.
The infotainment system is connected to a Harmon-Kardon surround sound audio system.
The BMW X5 petrol is available in Alpine White (non-metallic) and in the following metallic paint schemes: Black Sapphire, Imperial Blue and Sparkling Brown.
The petrol powered X5 xDrive35i SUV will be locally produced at BMW's manufacturing facility in Chennai.
