Maruti’s Best Car Dealership Award 2016

At the All India Maruti Suzuki Dealers Conference held in Singapore recently adjudged Varun Motors from Hyderabad as the best dealership in India for 2016m which sold 27,000 units for fiscal of 2015-16.

They have won it the second time after missing out the previous year. The award was adjudged among 415 dealers across the country, Varun Motors says it is because of the collective achievement of each of the dealerships 4,800 employees.

The Maruti Suzuki dealer has sold 25,000 units through their regular showrooms and 2,000 via their NEXA Outlets, now they are planning to sell 30,000 in the coming year. Varun Motors contributes 44% to the sales of Maruti cars in Hyderabad and contribute 2.2% to the overall sales of Maruti Suzuki cars in India.

The dealer is looking beyond Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and has set up showrooms in Bangalore in Karnataka. This coming fiscal, the dealer will invest Rs. 60 crores to expand its network and reach out many parts of the country.

Apart from being the Maruti Suzuki dealer, they also have showrooms for Bharatbenz vehicles and construction vehicles, they are into hospitality as well. Varun Group has 12 showrooms, 9 rural outlets, 15 used car showrooms, and 29 workshops to their credit.

The most number of sales was awarded to Indus Motors from Cochin in Kerala, which sold 35,282 units during the last fiscal. The best part about Indus Motors is that they have won in this category for the 10th year in a row.
