Bentley Introduces On-Demand Fuel Delivery Service
Bentley
has
introduced
a
new
concierge
service
which
banishes
forecourts
for
the
uber-rich.
The
company
has
only
started
a
beta
service
being
trialled
in
California.
The service is on-demand fuel delivery service, which is similar to personal shopping offered by high-end concierge services.
When the car is getting low on fuel, it communicates with a start-up company called Filld, which dispatches an attendant to wherever the car is to fill up for you.
Christopher Aubuchon, Co-founder and CTO of Filld said, ‘Filld and Bentley share a vision for leveraging powerful connected car technology - to one day eliminate the need for customers to refuel their cars themselves, removing inconvenience, and giving them more of their valuable time back."
Bentley has only introduced this as a US-only trial, for now. Later, the service might be extended to Europe and Asia. The company officials haven't announced anything about the pricing for this service.
