Bentley Bentayga India Launch Slated For April 22, 2016
Bentley recently unveiled its very first luxury SUV for international markets. Now the Bentayga will be launched in the Indian market on April 22, 2016. The British-based luxury carmaker debuted the Bentayga at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Under the hood of Bentley's Bentayga will be a 6.0-litre W12 petrol engine. The engine is tuned to produce 600bhp, along with 900Nm of peak torque output. The Bentley Bentayga will have an AWD (All-Wheel Drive) system and the engine will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Though the Bentayga is an SUV, it can give any super a run for its money. The Bentayga can attain a top speed of 300 km/h with relative ease. The luxury SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a matter of 4.2 seconds.
Bentley has introduced the Bentayga in several international markets. The luxury SUV was last launched in China and was priced at 3.89 million Yuan or Rs. 4.2 crore equivalent in India. We are currently unsure of the Bentayga's pricing, however, we expect it to be priced extravagantly.
Currently, the Bentley Bentayga has no direct competition in the Indian market. The overall design language for the Bentayga has been inspired by Bentley's existing range. Stay tuned for more updates and images of Bentayga launching in India.
