New Audi TT RS To Hit The Roads This November
German carmaker Audi has announced that the new Audi TT RS will be available for booking in late September in UK and deliveries will begin from November. The new Audi TT RS was first showcased at 2016 Beijing Motor Show.
The new Audi TT RS is the most powerful TT to be ever produced and will be offered in both Coupe and Roadster variant. The new TT RS is powered by a newly built 2.5-litre, 5-cylinder, TFSI engine with dual injection and Audi Valvelift Technology, which lead to a 17 percent boost in performance.
The engine produces a whopping 395bhp and 480Nm of torque, which is coupled to a 7-speed S tronic gearbox. The Coupe version of the car can sprint from 0-100km/h is just 3.7 seconds, whereas the Roadster manages to reach the marker in 3.9 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 249.44km/h.
The latest Audi TT RS boasts large air inlets, Singleframe grille and Quattro logo, rear wing sitting with double struts, diffuser insert with four vertical fins and elliptical tailpipes, it gets an optional feature of Matrix OLED rear lights as well.
The Audi TT RS is equipped with quattro all-wheel-drive system and Audi Drive Select adaptive dynamic system which offers Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and individual modes. Although there is no word from Audi about the launch in India, it is speculated that the new sports car from Audi will be launched by early next year.
