New Audi R8 V10 Plus Launched In Mumbai For Rs. 2.55 Crore

Audi has launched the new R8 V10 Plus in Mumbai for Rs. 2.55 crore ex-showroom (Mumbai). The new R8 V10 Plus was initially launched during the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi earlier this year.

Powering the new Audi R8 V10 Plus is a 5.2-litre V10 engine that produces 602bhp and 560Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and power is sent to all four wheels.

Speaking at the occasion, Joe King, the Head of Audi India said, "The previous model was already the sporty vanguard of the brand - and this applies to the second generation Audi R8 even more. The newly conceptualized high-performance sports car has been made even tauter and stronger, both on and off the race track."

"In fact, 50 percent of the components of the new Audi R8 are from the Audi R8 LMS. With this next generation Audi R8 V10 Plus coming in, we are now unleashing the perfect poster boy for contemporary panache, outstanding performance and daily usability."
