Video: Watch This R8 LMS Complete The Macau GP On Its Roof And Still Win The Race
The terrible crash which made the R8 LMS slide on its roof for good distance which immediately called for a red flag.
Last week, the Macau Grand Prix was held on some of the treacherous city roads and ended its day in a rather spectacular fashion.
The race was won by Laurens Vanthoor in his Audi R8 LMS race car despite crashing and flipping the car after being overtaken by another driver.
The terrible crash which made the R8 LMS slide on its roof for good distance which immediately called for a red flag and the race was stopped.
The race was never restarted, and Vanthoor was awarded the win despite his crash, thanks to the countback on the results from the previous lap.

Speaking about his crash, Vanthoor himself questioned whether he deserved the win since he has crashed.
"I think if you go back at least two laps or before the crash, I would have at least deserved to win," said Vanthoor. "I wouldn't say I was going to win, but I would've been in contention for it. Now officially I have won it, but the way I won it is really strange.
"I don't really know if I deserved it in a way, as I crashed and made a mistake and I am still a winner - which is very awkward. But I don't really know what to say. It would have been a better show for everybody without the crash and a better victory, but I don't know what to think about it," he added.
