Aston Martin Showcases James Bond’s Favorite Car In India — Launch Imminent
Aston Martin, the sports luxury carmaker showcased its flagship Coupe, the DB11 in the financial capital of India, Mumbai. With this showcase, the British automaker has only increased the curiosity about its imminent launch in the country.
The showcase was held in Mumbai before the company can formally launch the DB11 with a price tag in the country. The DB11 is expected to enter India probably later this month.
Aston Martin's new flagship car made its global debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show earlier in March 2016. This is on sale in various countries around the world.
The new DB11 comes under Aston Martin's ‘Second Century' plan, also will be the first one to roll out from this plan.
The new plan from the automaker aims to expand the brand and its reach in various global markets by launching new vehicles and sprucing the current line-up of vehicles. The Aston Martin DB11 is exhilarating with its design cues.
As for the performance of the DB11 Coupe, it is powered by a newly developed 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 churning out a massive 600bhp and 700Nm of peak torque.
The DB11 can sprint from 0 -100kms in an impressive 3.9 seconds before topping out at 322km/h. The DB11 will be the most powerful car from the DB line of cars.
The DB11 V12 is paired to an 8-speed gearbox manufactured ZF and sends the power to the rear wheels.
Aston Martin is expected to launch the DB11 with a price tag range of Rs 4.5 crore ex-showroom.
