Spy Pics: 2018 Audi A7 Spotted Testing
Audi's A7 first burst onto the scene in 2010 as Audi's rival to the Mercedes-Benz CLS. Since then, it has become once of the most recognizable Audi cars across the world.
However, the current A7 sedan is nearing the end of the usual 7-year product cycle, we see from the troika of German manufacturers: Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. Ingolstadt-based Audi though, is not content to twiddle its thumbs and is busy testing the next-generation of the sports coupe/sedan mashup.

The next-gen A7, alongside the next A8 is set to lead Audi's charge towards electrification and autonomous driving, and the mule spotted testing, sure looks like it's trying to do a bit of both.
According to Autoevolution, the front bumper sports what looks like massive radar sensors while at the rear, there doesn't seem to be a tailpipe in sight, which could point towards an electric drivetrain of some sort.
It could also be pointing towards a hydrogen-powered Audi, something like the A7 h-tron concept from a few years back.
The next-gen A7 is expected to hit the streets in 2018.
