The 2017 Nissan Micra was unveiled at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in September 2016 and now live images of the new Micra sans the camouflage is seen in broad daylight.
While the previous generation Nissan Micra was considered conventional and traditional, the 2017 Micra is trendy and sharp in the exterior. The Europe-bound fifth-generation Micra will be launched in March 2017.
The Euro-spec 2017 Micra will be produced in France, while the model which will be offered to Asia, Middle East and India will get the new Micra which will be made in India.
Derived from the Sway concept, the 2017 Micra makes a huge statement with its looks and has gone through a revolutionary makeover.
The new-generation Micra measures 3,995mm in length, 1,742mm in width, 1,452mm in height. Hence compared to the outgoing model, the new Micra is 170mm longer, 77mm wider and 69mm shorter and has 75mm longer wheelbase.
Powering the 2017 Nissan Micra is a 0.9-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine which produces 89bhp. Also, a diesel powertrain of 1.5-litre will be available as well.
Later, the company will offer the naturally aspirated 1.0-litre three cylinder petrol mill which churns out 72bhp of power. All the engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Highlighting the 2017 Nissan Micra is the signature LED lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, hidden door handles, flat bottom steering wheel, LED ambient lighting.
On the entertainment front, the 2017 Nissan Micra will be equipped with 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation system and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration compatibility.
