New 2017 Hyundai Verna Spied Testing Undisguised

The next generation 2017 Hyundai Verna was showcased as a concept at the Beijing Motor Show 2016. Now, a production ready 2017 Verna was spied testing in China undisguised.

Hyundai is readying the 2017 Verna to be launched later in 2017 and the spy shots show the base variant to sport halogen headlamps and steel wheels. The top variant will come with projector headlamps, LED DRLs, fog lamps, and newly designed alloy wheels.

The new Verna 2017 will be set on a longer wheelbase measuring 2,600mm, 4380mm in length, 1728mm in width and 1460mm in height. This will definitely increase the cabin space.

As for the engine of the 2017 Hyundai Verna, a choice of 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engines, which will produce 100bhp and 123bhp of power respectively. Also, the new Verna will get the 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines and will be mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox.

The new 2017 Verna will feature sunroof, automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, leather upholstery and six airbags.

The Hyundai 2017 Verna will compete with Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid. The new Verna is expected to be launched in 2017 and will be priced marginally higher than the current model.
