$2.4 Million Lamborghini Centenario Sold Out

All 40 units of the limited run Lamborghini Centenario have been sold before the car's unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show. The Centenario is being created to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of the company.

The Centenario (at least that's what the rumors claim the name of the car is), will be based on the current Aventador and 20 examples each of both the coupe and the convertible will be made. Powering the Cenetario will be the 6.5-litre V12 found on the Aventador, but the power output is expected to be upped quite significantly.

2016 will also mark 50 years since the Lamborghini Miura first showed up on the streets and lamborghini is expected to pay tribute to the iconic supercar as well.
