Zoomcar Add 50 New Tata Nano's To Its Fleet
Zoomcar, the Bangalore based self-drive car rental company has updated its fleet with 50 brand new Tata Nano cars.
Greg Moran, the Co-founder of Zoomcar said, "We chose Nano primarily because it is a tremendous city car, which is incredibly manoeuvrable in Indian traffic conditions."
The company is looking for good demand by customers for the Nano because of its size and practicality in city conditions. A small displacement car with good fuel economy and the size that makes it easy to park will be key advantages.
As a start, these 50 cars will be split between Bangalore and Pune.
Zoomcar was founded in February 2013 in Bangalore by David Back and Greg Moran. The company operates in Delhi, Pune and Bangalore.
The self-drive rental car company has over 700 cars, including luxury cars like Mercedes-Benz as part of its fleet. As of October 2014, Zoomcar offers more than 250 cars in Bangalore alone.
