Volvo XC90 2015 Model To Debut In India On 12th May

Volvo is showing tremendous confidence in Indian market and have big plans. They recently launched their V40 Cross Country in India with a petrol engine to increase its appeal.

The Swedish manufacturer will now be debuting its luxury SUV, XC90 in India. This will be 2015 edition of XC90 for India and will debut on 12th of May, 2015.

Launch of this vehicle will be in September, 2015 this will only be an Indian debut. It will also be the announcement of any special additions or reductions in this luxury SUV model.

It is most likely that Volvo India will introduce only a diesel powered XC90 primarily. They will add a petrol version of the luxury SUV by early 2016.

• Horsepower: 225
• Torque: 470 Nm
• Gearbox: 8-speed automatic transmission

Volvo will also be making a very important decision by 2015-end. The Swedish manufacturer will be taking a call on local assembly of its products in India. This will help them achieve a more competitive price and will join the ‘Make in India' wagon.
