Volvo India S60 T6 Variant Launching On 3rd Of July
Swedish automobile manufacturer, Volvo, has displayed tremendous faith in Indian market. They have been launching vehicle after vehicle in the luxury car segment.
Now on 3rd of July, 2015 Volvo India will be introducing its S60 T6 variant sedan. This luxury sedan is already on sale in India, however, they will be adding an all-new variant that will entice buyers.
Here are the technical specifications of Volvo S60 T6 luxury sedan:
- Engine: 2.0-litre four cylinder, petrol turbocharged
- Horsepower: 304
- Torque: 399.91 Nm
- Gearbox: 8-speed automatic
Currently Volvo India has three models in India, which include the V40 Cross Country, XC90 and V40 Hatchback. The S60 T6 sedan will be their fourth launch in the country and is expected to boost sales.
As of now Volvo is importing all of its models to India and offering them as Completely Built Units. This attracts additional taxes and excise duties on the product. Swedish automobile manufacturer is exploring options to begin assembly of vehicles in India.
