Volkswagen To Launch New-Gen 2015 Beetle In India Soon
Volkswagen's Beetle has been one of the most iconic and loved car all over the world. Since the very first model was launched it has been a popular choice among several.
The German manufacturer had launched the new Beetle in India previously. Due to low sales Volkswagen pulled the plug on Beetle for Indian market.
Now Volkwagen will be introducing the 2015 Beetle in India as well as their premium offering. The German manufacturer has already imported one model for homologation purposes.
Here are the technical specifications of 2015 Volkswagen Beetle:
- Engine: 1.4-litre TSI, petrol
- Horsepower: 147.88
- Torque: 250 Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed manual
It will be offered in India via the Completely Built Unit route, just as Volkswagen did previously. Pricing will be almost the same, if not more, we expect 2015 VW Beetle to priced upwards of INR 25,00,000 ex-showroom.
