Volkswagen Polo Top-Spec Variant To Get More Features In India

Volkswagen India recently introduced its Polo with mild updates for 2015. The German manufacturer has now decided to add some extra oomph to its hatchback model.

Top-spec Polos will be getting more features and equipment to make them more competition worthy. New additions will be provided only to their Highline variant in the Indian market.

The German automobile manufacturer will provide cruise control, cooled glovebox and electric folding mirrors. Both Comfortline and Trendline variants will not be getting these updates.

The price of the new top-spec will be increased by German automobile manufacturers. We are expecting a hike in price of almost INR 20,000 owing to the addition of new creature comforts.

Volkswagen India will be not updating the mechanical components in their Polo hatchback. Design wise it will look similar to the model on sale in India, no changes will be made to the exterior.

All features will also be provided to the top-spec Cross Polo model as well in the country. The VW Polo competes with the likes of Fiat Punto Evo, Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz premium hatchbacks.
