Volkswagen India Promise Arrival Of Five New Models By 2017
German automobile maker Volkswagen has just launched its new 2015 Vento for the Indian market. Volkswagen promises they have planned a string of launches up to 2017 in the country.
2016 Auto Expo will be the platform used by VW India to showcase their upcoming products in all their glory. There would also be a few concept vehicles showcased at the motor show in India.
India will get the Passat and Beetle most probably by next year itself. Both models were taken out of India offerings as the sales were not strong and demand kept decreasing.
Tiguan, a compact SUV from Volkswagen will make its debut in the country. It will be their very first compact SUV in Indian market, all products offered in India will be current generation and of global standards.
But the most highly anticipated offering from Volkswagen is their compact sedan, which will be based on their Polo model. The German manufacturer will be exploring new segments to boost sales.
Fifth and last offering would be another compact SUV, which is most likely to be influenced design wise from T-ROC concept showcased previously. All these new products are expected to make VW a more popular name in the Indian market.
