Volkswagen Beetle Bookings Accepted In India From Rs. 1 Lakh Onwards
Volkswagen India has been teasing us with the introduction of their new Beetle, and have now commenced bookings through their official website. Customers will have to pay a booking amount of Rs. 1 lakh at the time of booking.
Customers have to choose a colour and their preferred dealership. Then, you have to fill in your details and finalise the booking when a dealer calls up. A Volkswagen India representative will confirm your booking details and then the customer will have to pay Rs. 1 lakh as a booking amount.
The new Volkswagen Beetle will be available in four colour options — Orange, Blue, Red, and White. The Volkswagen Beetle will be offered in the country as a two-door option.
Powering the all-new Beetle in India is a 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine that come mated to a 7-speed automatic DSG gearbox. The engine is tuned to produce 147.52bhp and will ride on 16-inch wheels.
In terms of safety, Volkswagen will be providing the new Beetle with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and six airbags as standard equipment. All-new Beetle will also sport KESSY, which is a keyless access and push button start.
The new Volkswagen Beetle will come with bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights. Volkswagen will also provide an option between three colours for ambient lighting, and the interior gets leather upholstery and a panoramic sunroof.
Volkswagen India has not announced the launch date of new Beetle in the country and we expect the new VW Beetle to be priced approximately at Rs. 25 lakh ex-showroom.
