Toyota India To Commence Auctioning Of Used Vehicles
Toyota currently has no new product launches scheduled for this year in India. Japanese automobile manufacturer sales have also taken a beating due to no new offering.
Now Toyota will be introducing one of their common practices, which is followed in international markets. They will soon commence auctioning their used vehicles through exclusive outlets.
Japanese manufacturer's goal is to make used car market more reliable and safe for customers. Toyota's used car auction will be called ‘Toyota Auction Mart' and will be introduced during September, 2015 in Bengaluru.
Currently Toyota offers the following vehicles in Indian market:
- Etios Liva, Etios Cross and Etios
- Corolla Altis
- Camry
- Prius
- Innova
- Fortuner
- LC Prado
- LC 200
Used car segment is still not developed in the country and several manufacturers are trying to set a proper structure. It is a huge market and Toyota India plans to capitalise on it.
