Toro Rosso Switches Back To Ferrari Power In Formula 1
oi-Dennis
By Dennis
Toro Rosso, Red Bull's junior Formula 1 team, has switched back to Ferrari engines for the 2016 season after two years with Renault.
Toro Rosso had switched to Renault power when the V6 hybrid power units came into play in 2013. However, after two years of major issues with Renault's powerplant, Toro Rosso decided to split from the French company and return to the company that powered them during the V8 era — Ferrari.
However, Toro Rosso will not be running the 2016-spec engines but will instead use the powerplant from Ferrari's 2015 season.
