Tata Nano GenX AMT Launching On 19th May In A New Avatar
The latest iteration of Tata's small and compact car will be launched on 19th of May, 2015. It will christened as the GenX Nano and will shed off its cheap car avatar, which tainted its value.
There are two main changes that make the Nano GenX more desirable than ever before. First is the openable boot lid and the second will be their Easy Shift AMT transmission.
Tata engineers will also be providing the GenX Nano with a bigger fuel tank. Power steering also makes its way on to the vehicle making it a better city drive than ever before.
Several offers and exchange schemes have been prepared by Tata Motors for existing as well as new customers. They have also showcased images of their GenX Nano on Facebook.
Expect an increase in price for the Nano GenX, which will get more features and will be a more convenient city vehicle. We believe this new model will be priced between INR 2,50,000 to INR 3,00,000 ex-showroom.
In terms of design and visual updates, Tata designers have provided very minimal changes. A smiling grille with foglamps is noticeable along with smoked headlamps—the rear bumper has also been redesigned on Nano GenX.
