Tata Motors Zest Compact Sedan XTA Variant Launched In India
India's largest manufacturer of four-wheelers, Tata Motors had recently introduced its next-generation of products. These included the Zest compact sedan and Bolt hatchback, both of which are global products. Now the manufacturer has introduced an all-new variant in its compact sedan range.
Currently the Indian manufacturer offers its automatic transmission only in its XMA trim option of Zest. This diesel powered model was priced at INR 7,31,146 ex-showroom, Mumbai. Now customers will have a second choice to choose from, which will have more features than the current automatic variant offered.
The Zest from Tata Motors will be offered to customers as a XTA trim option as a top-end compact sedan. It will be powered by the same diesel engine and gets the popular AMT gearbox. This new variant of Zest has been priced at INR 8,42,826 ex-showroom, Mumbai.

Tata Zest XTA engine specifications:
The Zest compact sedan will sport a diesel turbocharged 1248cc engine.It will generate 89 bhp, along with 200 Nm of peak torque. It will now be mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Tata Motors claim their Zest AMT trim provides fuel efficiency figures of 23 kpl.
