SsangYong Tivoli International Launch At Geneva Motor Show
South-Korean manufacturer, SsangYong will be launching its Tivoli at 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The manufacturer had launched this new compact SUV in Korea during January, 2015. It was announced that this product will be introduced in several international markets as well.
This is the very first compact SUV to be offered by SsangYong and they have high expectations from this product. The Tivoli looks premium and stylish, it breaks free from the traditional design cues of its manufacturer.
SsangYong will be launching its Tivoli with both petrol and diesel engines at 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Both engines will Euro 6 compliant and highly efficient. Both petrol and diesel engines will have a displacement of 1.6 litres. Customers will have the option to choose from 4-wheel drive and 2-wheel drive.
The Tivoli by SsangYong will be launched internationally at Geneva Motor Show. Petrol powered Tivoli will be available in Europe and other countries by May, 2015. The diesel and 4-wheel drive option will come at a later stage, SsangYong will offer it by July, 2015.
Currently in Korea the compact SUV is priced at 16.3 million Korean Won or INR 9,31,000 for its base model. The feature rich version of Tivoli costs 23.7 million Korean Won or INR 13,53,000. Expect more or less similar pricing in countries that SsangYong will offer its Tivoli.
Ssangyong is currently owned by Indian automobile giant Mahindra and Mahindra limited. The Indian company owns 70 percent shares in the South-Korean automobile manufacturing company. Ssangyong is the fourth largest automobile manufacturer in South-Korea, its name stands for double dragons.
