Skoda Yeti Style Variants Launched In Two Options For India

Skoda has had a quiet year in terms of launches in the Indian market during 2015. The Yeti now will be offered in two new variant options called 'Style'. No mechanical or visual change is provided to Skoda Yeti's Style variant for the Indian market.

The Yeti Style variant is priced as follows by Skoda India:

• Skoda Yeti Style 4x2 is priced at Rs. 20.27
• Skoda Yeti Style 4x4 is priced at Rs. 21.97

Previously, Skoda products adorned the Elegance badging, which is now being replaced with Style. The Yeti will now be available only in the Style variant with an option between front wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Visually new Yeti will only have a Style Badge on its rear.

Under the hood of Skoda Yeti will be a 2.0-litre TDI, turbocharged diesel engine with the direct injection system. The front wheel drive option produces 108.62bhp while the all-wheel drive model develops 138.12bhp. Front wheel drive Yeti is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive Yeti is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.

In terms of safety, Skoda Yeti Style offers six airbags, Electronic Differential Lock, Anti-Slip Regulation, Parktronic, an Off-road assistant with hill descent control, Traction Control System, Tyre Pressure Monitoring, and several other features.
