Skoda India To Most Likely Showcase New Superb At 2016 Auto Expo
Czech manufacturer, Skoda is most likely to showcase its new Superb at the 2016 Auto Expo. Several manufacturers use this motor show as a platform to showcase their upcoming products.
Latest iteration of Superb is already on sale in several international markets. Skoda is expected to launch it by 2015-end in China, followed by its Indian debut and then its launch.
The new Superb by Skoda is based on Volkswagen's MQB platform and its design has been inspired from their Vision C concept.
It is most probable that Skoda will offer the new Superb in India with its current range of engine in Superb. Current model is offered with a single petrol and diesel engine option.
On offer will be a petrol 1.8-litre engine with both manual and automatic transmission. The 2.0-litre diesel mill will be available only with an automatic transmission and will be a popular choice.
When launched in India new Skoda Superb is expected to be priced between INR 20,00,000 to INR 25,00,000 ex-showroom. we wonder if this new Superb could change their fortunes in India.
