French carmaker Renault has revealed a full-scale model of the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo game racer, in the Festival Automobile International in Paris on the 27th of January.
The racer will be exhibited at the 2015 Rétromobile Show that will take place between February 4th and 8th at the Porte de Versailles, Paris.
The car is a gift to Alpine for its 60th anniversary as well as to Gran Turismo 6 fans. The design was inspired by the Alpine A450 from the Le Mans 24 Hours.
Renault say that the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo is a "fruit of the collective imagination of the designers and engineers entrusted with developing the 21st Century Alpine."
Powering the car is a 4.5-liter V8 engine that is mounted in the mid-rear position. The engine develops 450 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 580 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm at the rear wheels. The engine is mated to a seven-speed sequential gearbox, which can propel the 900 kg car to a top speed of 320 km/h.
The Alpine Vision Gran Turismo will be a free update to the Gran Turismo 6 for PlayStation 3 in March.
