Renault Lodgy Showcased At Star Guild Awards 2015
The all-new Renault Lodgy was showcased at Renault Star Guild Awards for the first time in India. The Renault Lodgy was officially revealed by Anil Kapoor and Sumit Sawhney at Renault Star Guild Awards.
Renault had earlier released photos of the new MPV from its stables and has now revealed the India bound vehicle at this event.
Sumit Sawhney, the Country CEO and Managing Director for Renault India Operations was also present at the event and presented Hrithik Roshan, the Bollywood actor with the first vehicle.
The event was attended by celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Gulshan Grover, Priyanka Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, Ritesh Deshmukh, Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Varun Dhawan.
Along with Renault Lodgy, the Duster AWD was also showcased and autographed by the Bollywood actors present at the event.
The Lodgy will be powered by 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine, that will produce 85 bhp. If the company decides to put in a petrol mill, it will get the 1.6-litre petrol engine that produces 103 bhp.
When the Lodgy is launched, it will take on other MPVs like the Chevrolet Enjoy, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Nissan Evalia, Honda Mobilio and the Mahindra Xylo.
