Renault Kwid Launching On 24th September

The much awaited news has arrived, and that is of the Renault Kwid launch date—24th of September.

The Kwid will be Renault's entry into the small hatchback market, which it expects it to be a mass seller, competing with the Alto 800.

Powering the Kwid will be a three-cylinder petrol engine that will produce 57 bhp, and will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Kwid's ARAI mileage is 25 kpl, which is the highest in this segment.

The Kwid will also sport a massive ground clearance of 180 mm, making it look more crossover-ish than a hatch.

It will feature a 2-DIN audio system with bluetooth, power windows Media-Nav navigation, seven-inch touchscreen display, and 13-inch wheels.

Pricing of the Kwid is expected to be around INR 3 to 4 lakhs and will be equipped with optional airbags in terms of safety.
