Queen Elizabeth II Gets Custom Range Rover Hybrid
Range Rover has custom built a one-off SUV for Queen Elizabeth II. Based on the long wheelbase version of the Range Rover Hybrid, this has been signed by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations and by Land Rover Design, as being a one-off model.
A statement from the company read:
"A new, hybrid-powered State Review vehicle was used for the first time today, when Her Majesty The Queen presented New Colours to the Royal Welsh Regiment in Cardiff. The Queen is Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiment."

What makes the vehicle really stand out from the rest is an open top over the rear passenger compartment. Other than that, the vehicle is powered by a 3.0-litre, SDV6 diesel engine, assisted with an electric motor to produce 340 horsepower and 700 Nm of peak torque.
The standard model takes 6.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standstill and can reach a top speed of 218 km/h.
