Porsche Beats Audi To Victory Again At 2015 FIA WEC
Porsche has beat Audi again, to claim victory at the 2015 FIA WEC at the 6 Hours of Nurburgring. The German car maker climbed the 1 - 2 position, beating Audi.
Porsche currently leads the manufacturers standing with 184 points while Audi leads the way with drivers' standing, 17 points ahead of Porsche.
The victory was taken by the #17 car, driven by Mark Webber, Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley, the same Le Mans winning team.
The #17 car lost its lead to the #18 car briefly when it had to make a long pitstop for fuel, while later on in the race the #18 car suffered three penalties after exceeding fuel allowance.
This was caused due to a faulty fuel sensor which made the team lose track of fuel levels and mis manage the fuel process.
