Nissan Next-Gen X-Trail Coming To India During 2016
Nissan India currently has not launched anything new during 2015, they have, however, introduced a few updates and cosmetic changes. Japanese car maker plans on introducing new products in the following year.
Previously the X-Trail was on offer in India, due to poor sales and declining interest in the model Nissan discontinued it. Next-gen X-Trail will be coming to India next year and is expected to make its debut at 2016 Auto Expo.
Internationally next-gen X-Trail was introduced at 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. It has been selling there since a couple of years and Nissan will be bringing the same model to India as well.
Under the bonnet of next-gen Nissan X-Trail is the following:
- Engine: 1.6-litre four cylinder diesel
- Horsepower: 127
- Torque: 320Nm
- Gearbox: CVT
Exterior will be completely different from previous model, which had a squarish design. Nissan has borrowed design cues from their Juke model which is doing extremely well in European markets.
Interior will also be updated for a more modern and luxurious appeal. Nissan India has not revealed much about their upcoming products and is expected to do so soon.
