Nissan Appoint New Global Marketing And Sales Head
Nissan has appointed Daniele Schillaci as the company's new global sales and marketing head. He will take over this new position from the 15th of July.
Daniele Schillaci was the Senior Vice President of sales and marketing for Toyota Europe. With his new job, Schillaci will be placed in the company's headquarters, based in Yokohama, Japan.
Schillaci began his career in 1993, at Renault. He worked in multiple sales and operational positions, before joining Fiat Auto S.p.A in 2001, to head the Alfa Romeo unit in Italy.
In 2002, Schillaci joined Toyota as General Manager for market development in Europe. He also held multiple positions under the Toyota and Lexus brands.
Carlos Ghosn, the CEO of Nissan said, "Daniele is a talented automotive executive with a solid background in marketing and sales."
"He will lead the global team to make our brands - Datsun, Infiniti and Nissan - stronger through a focus on brand building and industry-leading sales and service treatment of our customers."
