Toyota All Set To Unveil The New Innova Globally On Nov. 23
Toyota is all set to unveil their all-new Innova MPV globally on November 23, 2015. The new Innova will be making its debut in Indonesia and will then be on sale in several other markets. Dealerships across Indonesia have commenced pre-booking, and deliveries are expected soon post-launch.
The new Innova is the second generation of the MPV and is being introduced 11 years after the first-generation model. The Innova is a popular product globally and sells high volumes for Toyota in the Indian market as well.
2016 Innova will be more sporty and modern looking than its predecessor, and will be based on their popular ladder frame, which is also shared by the Fortuner. The exterior design and styling of the new Innova will be unique.
In Indonesia, Toyota will be offering the 2016 Innova in both petrol and diesel engine options. On offer will be a 2.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine and a 2.4-litre GD diesel engine option. The engines will be mated to an optional 6-speed auto and 5-speed manual transmission.
Concerning safety, Toyota will be offering the new Innova with airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). All these features will be offered as standard safety equipment across all trim options.
Toyota is most likely to unveil the new Innova in India at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. We expect the new MPV to be launched in the country in mid-2016. The new Innova will be priced significantly higher than the outgoing model.
